As a sociable and very knowledgeable group of enthusiasts, The CMBA reached out to FDG to help it engage with a younger audience (families in particular), improve its corporate image and promote the association. Like many ‘classic’ associations and despite its regular appearances at the International Boat Show in London, The CMBA does suffer from some negative connotations.
With a limited budget, FDG focused efforts on events where audiences can be reached first hand. Simple eye-catching banners and leaflets were designed which repositions The CMBA as a welcoming, dynamic association which puts ‘fun on the water’ at the very heart of its proposition.
