Renault Sport Formula One Team has once again commissioned FDG to develop the core 3D model of its RS19 F1 car. The resulting model is to be used across all aspects of marketing in 2019.
Taking core CAD data from Renault, FDG have produced a photo-realistic model that enables in-house teams at the factory to experiment with livery options and sponsorship opportunities. Renders were also produced to provide key marketing shots for a range of applications. As Renault opted for a soft launch, the timescales were shorter and the reliance on the 3D model even higher than usual.
