Project outline
Kingsbridge Professional Solutions (from now on known as KPSol) handles the insurance requirements of professional self employed workers and Personal Service Companies.
KPSol had concentrated on client retention and had not focussed on attracting new business. They therefore required our help in coming up with a solution.
FDG advised on a viral marketing approach.
Our Approach
After getting a firm understanding of the KPSol ethos, their target audience, the message and their goals, FDG took the project from conception through to delivery.
FDG planned a strategic viral marketing campaign that involved the following:
- Project planning
- Script writing
- Character design (Memorable character to lead the campaign)
- 3D modelling and design
- Production of 2 x 3D Animation videos
- Production of HTML teaser email to draw new visitors to the website
- Seeding
- Unfortunately FDG was not commissioned to design the landing page on the KPSol website
The Results
Through a full viral campaign KPSol succeeded in:
- Securing the company name in the minds (especially if followed up by further animations) of its viewers.
- Creating the start of a following.
- Promoting the realisation that KPSol is not a fly by night company.
- Taking away the faceless presence of KPSol.
- Raising awareness of the character and thus the company. A subsequent instalment made the character recognisable to a large audience.
KPSol is now perceived as having a fun element and subconsciously has become more inviting.
Through site analytics results it is clear to see the distinct rise in traffic to the Kingsbridge site.
