Project outline
Remploy is a leading specialist employment services company. They specialise in placing disabled people and those who experience complex barriers in employment.
Working as a creative supplier to FWD Marketing Ltd, FDG were asked to produce an opening conference sting highlighting the skills of the internal teams and focusing on the real difference they make to the lives of the people they place. FDG also provided the set and AV design, speaker support and on-site branding for this one day event for 560 delegates.
Our Approach
Based on our extensive industry knowledge FDG designed a set featuring a 34’ high definition screen 3 live camera feeds, and supplementary LCD screens. Branding and banner stands were produced to ensure the theme of 'empowering ability' spread throughout the day and into the breakout areas.
After several creative meetings, FDG storyboarded the conference sting action through the eyes of the candidates as they took their journey from early uncertainties through to acquiring a job and finding satisfaction. Our film crew led by our Director travelled to the onsite locations and filmed the necessary scenes. Once captured, we edited the footage adding animated text and music.
The Results
Attendees gained a much clearer understanding of the various department roles within Remploy and how they interact as whole to help the individuals they represent. The sting was so successful it is now being used in a marketing capacity.
