Project Outline
Aalco Metals, is the UK’s largest stocking distributor of aluminium, copper, bronze, and steel with 19 branches throughout the UK & Eire, and is a group member of Amari Metals Group. Aalco distributes stock lists in the form of a brochure and decided that the quality needed to be raised for their new batch of 10,000.
Our Approach
Aalco offered FDG the chance to use their creative skills by releasing them from any formal brand guidelines. FDG decided upon the inclusion of iconography showing the products as 3D models. Careful consideration was applied to create a look that could adapted to work across multiple formats.
Results
FDG produced an A5 brochure of quality. The design spearheaded more consistency across their range of marketing collateral, providing a coherent ‘family’ feel to publications. These included The Product Guide, Datasheets and the subsequent website, all of which were designed and produced by FDG.
As a result of our work with Aalco and other Amari owned business, FDG have taken on the mantle of brand guardians.
