Project Outline
North One Sport is responsible for promoting the FIA World Rally Championship and as such had a requirement to produce a new version of their printed booklet – the 2010 Fact Book. FDG was required to bring a fresh blend of style, delivery and brand identity to the 2010 version. A PDF copy was also required for download from the WRC website.
Our Approach
FDG started the project by first formulating the required level of design taking into consideration all points raised in previous briefing discussions. We then created three design concepts to allow both parties to finalise on the winning look and feel.
FDG assessed and offered alternative and aesthetically pleasing ways of illustrating information. The identity that we provided conveyed a consistent and positive message throughout the book.
We were transparent during the development to be sure that North One Sport was happy with progress.
Results
FDG Ltd delivered on time and within budget. North One Sport was delighted with the results and have gone on to use the look and feel created for the Fact Book in other areas of digital and print. FDG were also recently selected to produce their latest Style Guide update as well as the 2011 version of the Fact Book.
